Professor Tina Wik, member of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has received the prestige European Union/Europa Nostra heritage award for 2002 for her project on the Nora Parish House. A total of 282 projects from 19 European countries were submitted for the European Union heritage award for 2002, of which thirty-five received awards. The laureates of this year's European Union/Europa Nostra heritage award for 2002 will be announced at the European Union heritage award ceremony in the Palais d'Egmont in the cente of Brussels on Friday 9 May 2003, which the European Union celebrates as «Europe Day». The ceremony will be chaired by Mrs. Viviane Reding, European Union commissioner for education and culture, and Mr. Otto von der Gablentz, executive president of Europa Nostra. The ceremony will be attended by His Royal Highness Prince Lorenz of Belgium as guest of honour.
