PRESS RELEASE - Dr. Amra Hadžimuhamedović, member of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been unanimously elected to the International Committee on Theory and Philosophy of Conservation and Restoration

At the annual meeting of the International Committee on theory and Philosophy of Conservation and Restoration held in Florence from 4 to 6 March 2011, Commissioner Dr. Amra Hadžimuhamedović of the Commission to Preserve National Monuments was welcomed into the group of the world’s leading heritage protection theoreticians who have constituted the Committee since its formation.

Among the first members of the Committee to extend his personal congratulations to Dr. Amra Hadžimuhamedović was Gustavo Araoz, president of ICOMOS International, who used the opportunity of this meeting with the new member of this prestige international scientific body to exchange views on questions of importance for the advancement of heritage preservation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
